Hi there, I'm Christian!
Hi, my name is Christian Waller, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I think that when we're able to understand how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are mirrors of our meanings and experiences, we're able to explore a bit deeper for what drives us and what we want to do with that information.
My approach
I tend to take more of an eclectic approach with therapy, and I often use a mixture of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
My focus
While I've worked primarily with clients who have experienced trauma in some form, I've also worked with treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD and developing skill sets that help with interpersonal skills and life skills.
My communication style
I believe that therapy happens best when we're comfortable. When we're in environments where we don't feel judged to share as well as safe to explore fears/anxieties, we're able to go a bit further without those obstacles or limitations.
