I focus on providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to adolescents, adults, and women across the lifespan, with a special emphasis on underserved and minority populations. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal and postpartum mental health, and stress-related disorders.

My journey to mental healthcare

My passion for mental health grew from witnessing the profound impact of emotional and psychological challenges on individuals and families, particularly within African American and underserved communities. Determined to be part of the solution, I pursued my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health NP.

My approach is goal-oriented and holistic, focusing not only on symptom reduction but on improving overall quality of life. I work with clients to create realistic, measurable goals tailored to their unique circumstances, values, and cultural backgrounds.
