My communication style

I believe in open, honest dialogue where I listen attentively to understand your unique perspective and needs. My communication style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported on your path to greater resilience and positive change.

My journey to mental healthcare

Being a therapist is a calling. My journey started as a child learning to listen to others' challenges and connect with their feelings and needs. Showing empathy and allowing people to feel safe sharing their feelings and thoughts drives me to work with people.

My goals for you

Setting goals with clients is the foundation of the counseling experience. After identifying the presenting challenges, I want to coordinate with the client to know what agreed areas they want to explore in the counseling experience and what they perceive progress to look like in those areas.

Our first session

The first session will be an opportunity for me as your therapist to get a chance to obtain information about your background and what existing areas have been most challenging for you. Although some questions I may ask you during this process may appear invasive, I aim to identify the challenges that impact how you function.
