Hi there, I'm Elizabeth!

I help people struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, PTSD, grief and loss, and eating disorders. I use a strengths-based approach that includes Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support meaningful change.

My style is reassuring, calm, accommodating, and personable. I want you to know you're in a safe space where you can talk about anything. I pride myself on listening without judgment and creating an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always been drawn to helping others. I worked with adults with intellectual disabilities, school-aged children with behavioral health concerns, and adults with severe mental illness. I quickly recognized that counseling was my calling and made the leap to full-time therapist.

I approach goal setting by building trust and rapport with you, then working together to define what you want to accomplish. We develop realistic steps and interventions that clear the path to achieving success and attaining your desired outcomes.

Our first session focuses on getting to know each other and building trust. We'll explore what you're feeling, the barriers you're facing, and how I can help. I'll ask questions to understand your current position and past experiences, along with what you're hopeful to resolve.
