Hi there, I'm Joseph!
I focus on DBT to help you manage intense emotions and navigate relationships. DBT works with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and trauma. Because DBT includes CBT, it's especially impactful for those who've experienced childhood or recent trauma. I offer telehealth sessions and in-person sessions at 2442 Myrtle St, Honolulu, HI 96816.
My focus
I work closely with local families, military families, severely mentally ill individuals, survivors of sexual abuse, LGBTQ+ community members, and folks who need guidance getting their lives headed where they wish. I currently work with individuals in Honolulu and virtually across Hawaii.
My approach
I believe each person has the answer to their struggles, and our work is to help you find those answers. I practice unconditional positive regard without judgment. My approaches include EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, guided meditations, Inner Child Work, and sand tray therapy.
