Hi there, I'm Carrie!

I help young adults and adults cope with and manage symptoms relating to ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, and trauma.

My focus

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, and while I genuinely enjoy helping everyone, my true passion lies in supporting young adults and adults in navigating ADHD, anxiety, developing coping skills, racial identity, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ issues.

My approach

My approach is tailored to each client and their individual goals and needs. Some therapeutic interventions include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, somatic and trauma-informed, and exposure and response prevention.

My communication style

My communication style is warm, nonjudgmental, comforting, and humorous. I strive to create a safe place for my clients to openly express themselves.

My journey to mental healthcare

While working for a court-ordered dual diagnosis rehab, I noticed the lack of therapeutic interventions and heavy reliance on behavioral modification. Witnessing how this negatively affected clients, I returned to school to learn about mental health and evidence-based interventions. I am driven to help people thrive.
