I understand therapy as an open and collaborative conversation. My sessions do not emphasize diagnoses, and I never view people through the lens of pathology. I prefer to build a warm and nurturing environment that provides space for us to explore the most supportive interventions to address your specific needs.
My focus
I work with individuals and couples from the queer community, those in alternative or open relationships, and those navigating the transgender experience. I support clients with trauma and sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, sexuality issues, infidelity, libido concerns, and sexual desire discrepancy.
My approach
I develop individualized treatment strategies that we can evolve together as we work to experience how true acceptance and self-acceptance can lead to authentic nonjudgment. I often employ dialectical behavior therapy in combination with other methods to build an eclectic approach that meets your needs.
