My communication style

I have found that acceptance and understanding are essential to helping people improve their lives and benefit from their work in therapy. I have also found that trust is an essential element in the process and work hard to establish and maintain it.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have experience helping people with all sorts of problems and conditions. I was attracted to doing this work in order to help others and because I find it very meaningful.

My goals for you

Goals are defined by the individual seeking treatment. I try to let people tell me where they want to go.

Our first session

The most important thing is to establish trust in an initial meeting. I like to understand as best I can the nature of the problem and what the person is hoping to get from therapy. I also like to allow clients to ask me questions to help in this process.
