I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and concentrate on Positive Psychology - the seeking of happiness. We explore methods of becoming happier while tackling barriers to positive change in the form of negative assumptions.
My focus
I treat a whole range of clients. In recent years, I have concentrated on couples therapy, those suffering from anxiety/depression, and individuals with PTSD. I am most comfortable treating relationship problems, depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
My approach
My basic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We explore negative beliefs about self and the world that lead to counterproductive behavior. That behavior in turn leads to more negative beliefs. And thus the cycle continues. Our focus is on interrupting and ending this cycle through transforming negative beliefs and behavior.
