My communication style

I am a dynamic and interactive clinician who uses humor and human connection to bring about fast and measurable change. I am open and honest in my approach to care. My one golden rule is that I do not make rules for other people. I see my role as capturing what you want to accomplish and offering an array of approaches to meet those goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am energetic and excited about positively affecting the lives of others. I listen, hear, and feel deeply—I am intuitive and empathic. I am direct and to the point while using humor and relationships. I have overcome great obstacles and seek to share the skills I have learned to move forward.

My goals for you

I see myself as a guide to assist you in finding your path to change. I want you to feel you have agency to make the changes you want. I am flexible about interventions—whether assigning homework, providing resources, or practicing new skills and techniques that can measurably reduce problematic symptoms.

Our first session

I will be most interested in hearing what your areas of concern are and what is most challenging to you and holding you back from being the best you can be. That may look like childhood trauma, difficulty setting limits with family members, work stress, or a need to improve communication skills.
