Hi there, I'm Julie!

I have experience working in diverse settings, including mental health, medical, substance abuse, foster care, and family/individual counseling. I am comfortable facilitating groups. This has provided me with the knowledge and skills to serve communities, families, and individuals with empathy, dignity, respect, and integrity.

Therapy is based on individual and family needs. I use a client-centered approach. My theoretical approach is cognitive restructuring, emotion regulation, and solution-focused.

I will provide a safe place for clients to open up and address their concerns. I am not your most conventional therapist. I keep it real and demonstrate effective communication skills.

My journey to mental healthcare

Being raised in a highly dysfunctional family, I felt as though I'd always been a social worker. I am highly empathetic to those in need and have a strong desire to help improve a person's life and functioning level.
