Hi there, I'm Lita!

I am an LCSW (she/her), and I’m excited to get to know you. When individuals experience mental health challenges, it is not unusual for their lives to unravel. My values and passion lie in making a difference by helping people “feel better” who are facing depression, anxiety, and life adjustments such as grief, retirement, divorce, and COVID-19.

My focus

I help adults in their 20s to retirement age dealing with anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Whether you're healing from trauma, developing coping skills, or setting personal goals, I'll work with you to create a plan that supports your growth and helps you find joy and purpose.

My approach

My holistic approach is built on kindness, genuineness, respect, trust, empathy, and a strength-based focus. I help you identify your primary concerns and collaboratively develop appropriate goals and treatment based on the challenges you wish to overcome. Together, we create a practical, empowering plan for growth.

My communication style

I foster a supportive, non-judgmental space through open communication and active listening. I'm empathetic, patient, and calm, especially during challenging times. I create a safe and relaxed approach to generate rapport and a trusting relationship.

My journey to mental healthcare

My therapy journey started with a passion for helping others navigate life’s toughest challenges. Motivated by a deep curiosity about human resilience, I’ve gained personal insights and have seen firsthand how adversity affects mental health.

I see therapy as a partnership where we set and adjust goals that matter to you, whether it's improving relationships, building self-esteem, or other personal objectives. As you gain new insights, we'll adapt the plan to keep it relevant, and I'll provide the support and tools you need to move forward.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll get to know each other, discuss your background, and explore what brings you to therapy. It's normal to feel nervous initially, but we'll take things one step at a time. I'm here to guide you through the process as we build on it over time.
