I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I take a more integrative approach to therapy as I find everyone is different and unique and needs different techniques. My focus is trauma, severe mental illness in adults and children.
My focus
I have worked mostly with children, teens, and adults who have experienced trauma. I have worked with people diagnosed with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Substance Abuse, Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and ASD. I have worked with domestic violence survivors, child abuse victims, veterans, relationship issues, grief, and sexual issues.
My approach
My approach to therapy is more integrative since we all have different needs and learn differently. I assess the client in the initial meeting to see what approach would be the best fit for them and to make sure I am the right fit, also.
