I support teens and young adults navigating the challenges they face. I have a broad range of experience working with students of varying needs across the education system. My approach is to help clients create solution-focused options for the stressors they're facing.

My communication style

My therapy practice is very comfortable. I take pride in creating an environment that is easygoing and comfortable while adding humor and reassurance to our conversations. I want my clients to feel at ease sharing their challenges without feeling that they will be judged or made to feel uncomfortable.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have been practicing as a school social worker in public education, working with students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Beyond the school setting, I have also worked in private practice to support teens and young adults.

My goals for you

I take a client-centered approach to therapy and goal setting. It is important that clients have ownership of the goals being set and can take pride in all they accomplish through our work together. I consider myself encouraging and supportive, yet realistic in knowing that clients have to have meaning in the goals being set.

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I'll create a comfortable space where you can share your concerns openly. Together, we'll begin identifying the stressors you're facing and start exploring solution-focused paths forward.
