Hi there, I'm Scotia!

I have experience working with families and individuals. My areas of expertise are life adjustments, chronic illness, mood disorders such as depression and anxiety as well as substance use and recovery. I approach therapy as a supportive and encouraging space for people to explore any issues they may be struggling with.

My focus

I find that my therapeutic approach fits best with adults and teenagers. I am familiar with supporting clients who struggle with anxiety, substance use, depression, and trauma, along with life adjustments and chronic illness.

My approach

I use an eclectic approach, but I generally pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as mindfulness in order to find the best fit. I work with clients to create measurable and attainable therapy goals together and seek to support clients in making progress each session.
