I believe therapy can be a gift—a pause from life's stressors and a chance to view your experience from a new perspective. Therapy can also be challenging—it asks us to be honest, to reflect deeply, and to shift patterns that may no longer serve us. Meaningful change happens in the context of a strong therapeutic relationship.
My focus
My ideal client is an adult struggling with uncertainty and stress. Life transitions, job loss, retirement, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, or specific fears can make living a meaningful life seem impossible. I specialize in helping those who feel stuck in damaging patterns or overburdened with negative emotions.
My approach
I draw from various therapeutic approaches to address the whole person—emotionally, cognitively, and behaviorally. My approach is always tailored to you and your specific goals. I often integrate CBT to change unhelpful patterns, ERP to face fears, and Motivational Interviewing to explore ambivalence and strengthen readiness for change.
