Hi there, I'm Isabel!

I like meeting my clients where they are and helping them become the best version of themselves. I listen from a non-judgmental point of view, and I like to provide a safe space for my clients to be themselves.

My focus

I work with a lot of young adults and teenagers. I have a background in trauma work with survivors of abuse. I am comfortable working with individuals of all ages.

My approach

I am very eclectic. I like to take bits and pieces from different areas. I enjoy exploring childhood to find where patterns were created from a psychodynamic perspective, but also incorporating CBT to help change behaviors. I also like to give my clients unconditional positive regard to let them be themselves without judgment.

My communication style

I like to provide a warm and friendly environment. I like to connect with my clients and show them that, beyond a therapeutic relationship, I am also their cheerleader while they go through their healing journey.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been that person that people came to for a listening ear and support. I care about making the world a better place, and I want to see people be happy. There is a lot of good in the world, and my job is to help you find it and feel that your life is worth living.

I like to ask my clients what they are looking for and what they want to get out of therapy. Together, we can come up with a plan that works to achieve their desired goals.

Our first session

During the first session, I like to get to know my client. I ask about their background and how they grew up. I like to find out what they do for fun and who their current support system is. I also like to ask about their future goals and how they feel about their future.
