Hi there, I'm Faimmiah!

I’m a psychotherapist (LCSW) specializing in complex trauma, identity development, migration, and attachment. My work blends deep clinical training with lived experience as an immigrant and former refugee. I support adults, adolescents, and families navigating trauma, transitions, and emotional overwhelm.

My focus

I support clients carrying complex trauma, relational and identity wounds, cultural and migration stress, and long-standing emotional burdens. I also work with neurodivergent individuals, including those managing attention differences, sensory sensitivities, RSD, and executive functioning overwhelm.

My approach

My approach integrates attachment theory, IFS-informed parts work, somatic awareness, and trauma-responsive, anti-oppressive care. Sessions move at a thoughtful, intentional pace. I focus on helping clients understand their internal world with depth, clarity, and compassion without pathologizing their survival.

I create a reflective, culturally aware space where all parts of you are welcome, your strengths, contradictions, emotions, and identities. My journey to mental healthcare

My path began with my own lived experiences as an immigrant and former refugee. Witnessing displacement, transition, and generational trauma taught me to listen differently. That shaped my commitment to helping others name the stories they’ve carried and heal with depth, dignity, and cultural awareness.
