My communication style is inclusive and educational. When we partner together in your care, you will be well informed and heard. I am here to work with you keeping your concerns as a top priority.

My journey to mental healthcare

My initial interest into psychiatry was influenced by my mom being a psychiatric nurse and the integrity I witnessed her holding. The care she provided to her patients as well as our frequent discussions around emotions and mental health inspired me. My grandmother lived with mental illness. This increased my desire to bring integrity to care.

My goals for you

I approach goals by identifying your concerns. We work on identifying the level of distress of each of your symptoms. We will address each concern based off the highest level of distress and continue until with have addressed all symptoms and concerns.

Our first session

Our first session will entail a thorough evaluation to understand your life experiences up to this point. I will collect an extensive history during out time together. This will help bring clarity to what you are experiencing today. We will develop an initial plan from this session.
