My journey to mental healthcare

The importance of mental health for me came as a result of mental illness in my family. This arose from significant trauma for people before me and its impact on my family. I have seen significant amounts of this in the community as well.

I set goals with patient concerns in mind. I also consider the patient's most distressing issues to address these concerns first.

Our first session

Our first session will entail a thorough evaluation to understand your life experience up to this point. I have an extensive history to have a clear understanding of your full experience and how this can impact mental health challenges. We will develop an initial plan from this session.
