My communication style

I always try to build a rapport first with patients, and then we build off of that to make sure that you feel comfortable during the session. I use clear and concise communication and always summarize the next steps with the patient before ending our session. The ultimate goal is that you feel comfortable.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been in contact with mental health conditions, whether directly or indirectly, during my 17-year nursing career. I take pride in making sure that I provide high-quality care. Seeing patients get better and have a better quality of life drives the work that I do.

My goals for you

Goal settings are created together with the patient. If the patient prefers to determine goals that are reasonable and acceptable, we can always use them. Otherwise, it would be a team approach to setting goals.

Our first session

Patients can expect me to hear their concerns while being an active listener. I plan on setting goals and expectations early so that we have a clear plan and a path to achieve the set goals.
