If life feels overwhelming and you wish someone would truly listen, I can help. I enjoy helping people navigate challenges while discovering their inner strengths and regaining hope. My primary focus is children, families, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Let's take that first step together.

My focus

I enjoy working with children and their families to address a wide range of mental health symptoms. I hope to help your family function more effectively, learn to regulate emotions together, and work through challenges in a safer environment while utilizing coping skills. I have additional training working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

My approach

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you identify and reshape thought patterns into healthier ways of thinking. I also utilize Person Centered techniques, allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings while I see your world from your perspective. When working with children, I use Play Therapy to help them express emotions.

My communication style

My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment while being compassionate, patient, and understanding so you feel more comfortable expressing thoughts and feelings openly. I listen, reflect, and provide therapeutic guidance to help manage symptoms.

My journey to mental healthcare

What initially drew me to the mental health field was seeing many close friends struggle with mental health and seeing the lack of resources available. I have primarily worked in a community mental health setting and have helped a wide range of ages.

My focus is helping you identify and reshape thought patterns that hold you back, explore your emotions in a safe space, and develop healthier coping skills. Together, we'll work toward reducing troubling symptoms and improving how you communicate and manage life's challenges.

Our first session

Our first session will be a time to get to know one another, where we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. This is the perfect time to ask questions you may have. An assessment will be worked on to assist with getting to know one another and learn more about the goals you want to accomplish.
