My communication style

My office is calm, warm, and comfortable. I am nonjudgmental, accepting, empathetic, and supportive. The atmosphere is relaxed—you say what you want to say. My style is nonconfrontational, and I offer direct, honest feedback.

My journey to mental healthcare

My passion for therapy came at a young age through my own experiences and those of others. I learned life was more than just surviving. Working with trauma survivors opened my eyes to resilience. I help people access that resilience in healthy ways and become who they truly are.

My goals for you

Goals are an excellent way to measure progress and ensure we're on the right track. They are your personal goals, tailored to your needs, and can change as you progress. I collaborate with you and put goals in your words, setting a time frame to meet them.

Our first session

We'll introduce ourselves and discuss what happens during the session. I'll ask questions about different life areas—you don't have to answer if uncomfortable. After gathering information, we'll create a treatment plan based on your concerns, needs, and strengths. Then we'll summarize, set goals if applicable, and schedule the next appointment.
