My communication style

I am direct, assertive, straightforward, forward, and honest. I do not try to make things easier than they are. I am very supportive of my clients and quickly learn how clients prefer to handle difficult issues. Trust takes time, and building trust through honest communication is very important to me and to the clients I serve.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up with an alcoholic, abusive father and a very depressed mother. This was a big part of why I chose to be a therapist - to help others and instill hope in those struggling with similar issues. My practice has expanded to include other issues, but bringing experience and true empathy is an important component of serving my clients.

My goals for you

I ask questions to help clients identify what their true priorities are I setting and reaching goals. Once you have identified the goals that are most important to you, then we can brainstorm ideas on ways for you to reach your goals.

Our first session

Our first session will be getting to know each other and will include a full assessment and goal setting, so we can start working on your goals as quickly as possible.
