Hi there, I'm Cheryl!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor in the State Of Indiana. I have been practicing for over 30 years in multiple states. I practice in a very client-centered manner, meeting the individuals I work with where they are at and working from there.

My focus

I specialize in working with individuals aged 13 to the elderly. Symptoms might include depression, anxiety, difficult transitions, and trauma issues.

My approach

My style is very supportive, trauma-informed, and eclectic. I have skills related to CBT, DBT, and Harm Reduction. I can work with a wide variety of patients and backgrounds. Culturally sensitive and open to all LGBTQ+ issues.

My journey to mental healthcare

Initially, I trained in film with the plan to make documentaries and change the world. It quickly became clear to me that the most significant work I could do would be to help make the world a safer and better place for individuals, one at a time. I have always loved being a therapist and enjoy the great privilege it gives me.
