My communication style

I tend to be pretty laid back. I want my clients to feel comfortable being open and honest with me. If I'm doing something you don't like, or you want me to do something differently, please tell me!

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I liked working with kids and families. I worked at an organization where I did therapy with adolescents and their families. Then I moved and worked in an emergency room where I helped people of all ages who were in crisis. Through that experience, I found that I like working with young adults as well.

I like to talk about your goals often so that we make sure we're making progress.

Our first session

In our first session, I would like to chat and see if you think our personalities are a good match for working together. I also like to gather information about your support system, your history, and what's bringing you to therapy. I prefer to do this by us having a conversation rather than me asking you a list of questions.
