My communication style

I value the art of active listening and empathy as a result of my passion for crisis counseling and trauma care. I prioritize allowing clients to express themselves freely to foster a sense of safety and trust, and to also build a strong therapeutic alliance. Clients can expect me to be kind, calm, and patience with an abundance of empathy.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started from a deep intrinsic motivation to help others and curiosity about human emotional, psychological, and thought processes. I still have a strong passion for the youth and those who are disadvantaged, at risk, and in need of an advocate and guidance. I truly believe my purpose is being fulfilled, and this is my God-given calling.

My goals for you

I find that Motivational Interviewing is an effective way to help clients and increase their motivation and intrinsic and innate abilities to achieve their goals. Motivational Interviewing is also an effective way to get clients to clarify their beliefs about themselves and their willingness to commit.

Our first session

We will explore what led you to therapy, gather history, and collaboratively work towards measurable and desirable treatment goals during the first intake session to establish a preliminary treatment plan. Some results are felt and observed within the first thirty days of treatment.
