Hi there, I'm Jessica!

I offer individual therapy to those searching for support and healing. I specialize in working with women, adolescents, and Latinx immigrants experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, trauma, or generational trauma.

My focus

Maybe you seem to have it together, but inside something feels unhealed. Whether it's anxious thoughts, self-doubt, sadness, or life is just hard right now, I can help. Working through trauma, figuring out our place in the world, or quieting negative thoughts are tough to manage alone.

My approach

My style is warm, gentle, and goal-oriented. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share authentically. We'll focus on how your thoughts impact your feelings and actions, working together to reframe them so you can live meaningfully. I use mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and strength-based therapy.

My communication style

You can expect clear, non-judgmental communication. I'll be gentle, calm, and understanding while actively listening. I take on a curious role and ask questions to best understand you. I acknowledge you as the expert in your own life and will handle your story with care.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have over a decade of social work experience working with children and families in foster care, individuals with disabilities, those with severe mental illness, traumatized children and adults, and unaccompanied children and families. I've learned that people are resilient and can rise above anything.

I believe you are the expert of your own life, and I approach therapy collaboratively. I'll help you identify issues, reflect on what you'd like to change, and set goals. Whether you want to build self-esteem, manage anxiety or depression, or dig into trauma, I'll meet you where you are and provide tools to thrive.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll get to know each other. Therapy works best when we build a solid foundation. I'll answer your questions and ask about your background and what brings you to therapy. If you're nervous, that's okay. I take a casual, calm, gentle approach. My priority is your comfort.
