My communication style

I would describe my communication style as kind, genuine, and straightforward. I value building a strong therapeutic relationship through empathy, trust, and humor.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am a daughter of Mexican American immigrants. Growing up I took on a caregiving role as my parents relied on me to help them translate. Being in this field I view it similarly as we are all just trying to navigate life through our experiences.

My goals for you

I view therapy as a useful tool to help my clients achieve their goals. That means being flexible when things don't work the way we want them to and always being supportive!

Our first session

During our first session I will take the time to take a detailed history in order to get to know why we are the way we are. Often times clients get frustrated with their behaviors but I like to go over how they helped us survive at one point and it's important to address it and give it space.
