If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.

My journey to mental healthcare

I immigrated to the U.S. at 18, navigating cultural adjustment, academic pressure, and distance from home while rarely discussing mental health. Seeking therapy changed my life and reshaped my view of care as a complement to family support. That journey inspired my path into psychiatry and fuels my work today.

My goals for you

I see care as a partnership rather than a directive. Together, we explore patterns, emotions, and life experiences at a pace that feels right while focusing on practical steps that support growth and stability. When medication is part of care, it's always approached thoughtfully and collaboratively, with open conversation and shared decision-making

Our first session

Your initial visit includes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we discuss your symptoms, history, goals, and concerns. This is a conversation, not an interrogation. You'll have time to share what's been going on at your own pace, ask questions, and explore whether medication might be helpful.
