Hi there, I'm Jose!

I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My approach to mental health support is holistic and client-centered.

My focus

I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds. I see several clients who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I can help you manage a variety of mental health needs, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD.

My approach

While my primary focus is medication management, therapeutic approaches are woven into sessions with clients, such as supportive therapy, solution-focused therapy, and behavioral activation.

My communication style

I aim to be a warm, friendly, and supportive provider. I like to know more about the clients I work with to better understand the struggles they face in their day-to-day lives, as well as where they find support and joy.

Our first session

Our first appointment together will be a lot of information gathering, so I can get a better idea of your treatment history, what has and hasn’t worked, and what you would like from a treatment provider. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and be reassured that I won’t judge you for anything you feel open to sharing with me.
