I work with clients from almost all walks of life: those with serious mental illness and addictions to folks just trying to get their lives together and work through some stuff.

I create an environment for honest and direct communication. I am informal and encourage clients to discuss their issues in the ways with which they are most comfortable.

My journey to mental healthcare

I made a midlife career change to become a therapist after observing the struggle so many folks had to find mental health care after a disaster. I come from a personal journey in 12-step programs and have over three decades of sobriety.

My goals for you

One of the most practical benefits of therapy is having accountability to someone when you want to make changes in your life. Part of treatment planning is letting the client determine the focus of therapy and any personal goals.

I endeavor to make a client's first session as comfortable and accessible as possible. The client is always in the driver's seat and determines the road ahead.
