My communication style

I create a safe, compassionate, trusting environment where a client can feel comfortable in sharing their innermost thoughts and feelings on their way to reaching their full mental health potential. A person can feel that they are genuinely seen and heard as a worthwhile human being.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist started with taking a psychology class in high school. Psychology seemed to explain some of the behavioral patterns in my family. The more I studied psychology, the more I understood the depth of its value in helping me and others cope with their past and present mental obstacles in life.

My goals for you

We will start with where the client is at this point in life. I am here to help a client create the most helpful and meaningful goals that can enhance their life's potential. We will make these measurable goals as much as possible so that a client is able to see the progress as we proceed with the therapy.

Our first session

During the first session, we will work on getting to know the client's expectations and goals for the therapy. The client will know my approaches to helping them reach their goals. We will also discuss a client's rights and responsibilities in a therapeutic relationship.
