My communication style

I strive to create an open, non-judgmental, and safe environment. I take an inquisitive and curious approach using warmth, compassion, empathy, and sometimes humor. I provide a welcoming space for you to talk about whatever is important, and we work together to address barriers and achieve your goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been interested in the how and why of human behavior—what motivates us, what gets us stuck, and how we move forward. As a therapist, I look forward to partnering with you in understanding your personal journey and helping you become the best version of yourself.

My goals for you

We work together to identify specific areas of change you desire. I meet you where you are, and we identify and work on goals for treatment. I believe each person has the ability to grow and heal when given the right space and support, and I help you develop the tools necessary to achieve your goals.

Our first session

During the first session, we spend time talking about how you have been feeling and what brought you into therapy. I ask questions and actively listen to better understand your perspective and how your life experiences have impacted you. We explore what you are looking to get from this process and how we can best address those challenges together.
