My journey to mental healthcare

I have been a social worker for many years, working in child welfare, hospitals, mental health and substance abuse, hospice, schools, nursing homes, and assisted living. As a therapist, I am well-rounded with experience and knowledge in many domains. You are the expert of your own life. The client-therapist relationship is a partnership in healing.

My goals for you

You drive the decisions in your life. I am here to support you and move at your speed. I want you to feel and have concrete information that is practical to your life. You fly the plane and I'm your co-pilot. I will not allow you to take a nose dive but if you do, I'll ensure you place your oxygen mask on first.

Our first session

During our initial sessions, expect that we discuss confidentiality and ensure your demographic and emergency contact information is correct. We begin building our therapeutic relationship.
