Hi there, I'm Jose!

I am a bilingual therapist dedicated to mental health, social justice, and social work. My journey into mental health began with my own struggles with dermatillomania (chronic skin picking disorder), which I had lived with undiagnosed until seeking clinical help and discovering it was a treatable body-focused repetitive disorder (BFRB).

My focus

I work with a variety of clients, including those with depression and anxiety, as well as BFRBs.

My approach

I use various modalities that are best suited for each client. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In addition, I am trained to help people with OCD and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs).
