I strive to create an inviting and comfortable space for clients by showing up with authenticity, warmth, and a steady presence. I engage in active listening, have a calm demeanor, and invite humor and playfulness into sessions.

My journey to mental healthcare

You might say that I am living my teenage dream. As wild as that sounds, I knew that I wanted to be a therapist - and at the very least, a helper - when I was a teen. I felt strong empathy toward others, was an activist and an advocate, and felt compelled to know myself and others better.

My goals for you

My approach to goal-setting with clients is a collaborative one in which you are in the driver's seat. We will spend time building rapport, establishing trust, and learning more about what matters most to you so that I can best support you and you have room to grow.

Our first session

A first session with me is an opportunity for both of us to get a sense of one another. During this session, I tend to ask more direct questions to better understand your experience and get to know you - your strengths, interests, and supports - and we'll begin to identify what would be helpful for me as we get started in our work together.
