He is a phenomenal therapist. Rula made it easy to choose a therapist, with everyone listing their specialties and statements. I felt like he was a good choice for me and what I'm going through based on his bio and his approach. During our intake appointment, I knew that he was who I wanted as a therapist because I felt comfortable with him. I liked his approach on how he does therapy and how he was open to feedback as well, so he could tailor our sessions to meet my needs. As an avoidant, I need someone who can call me out on my bluff and get me to talk about uncomfortable things, and he does just that, but in a kind, gentle way. I feel safe enough to express emotions to him, cry, and work through what I'm going through. He is a great therapist that provides a safe environment. I've already been able to work on my issues with him and am seeing improvement in my life.
VERIFIED PATIENT TESTIMONIAL

Hi there, I'm Brendan!

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I have over a decade of treatment experience, working with folks from all walks of life in outpatient, residential, in-home, school, and military environments. These days, I bring my breadth of experience to one-on-one practice to focus on in order to dive deep into productive, meaningful work.

My focus

While I have experience with most clinical presentations, the most important thing I look for is willingness to work on goals. After we identify your patterns and replace irrational beliefs with more effective tools, the final step is real-world practice. My end goal is to work myself out of a job.

My approach

I bring an empathetic person-centered approach to problem solving. We'll identify your automatic thoughts and challenge irrational beliefs, paying particular attention to the ambivalence that naturally arises when we think about change.
