Hi there, I'm Syed!

I am a board-certified, practicing neuropsychiatrist who has pursued specialty training within the Mass General Brigham/Harvard Medical School system. During my general psychiatry training, it became evident that I needed to pursue specialty training to enhance treatment options beyond rudimentary neurotransmitter-based agents.

My focus

My approach to patient care is to synthesize an individualized plan based on biopsychosocial formulations and one that transcends putting patients into boxes or diagnoses.

My approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness-Based, Supportive, and Behavioral Activation.
