My communication style

My communication style is calm, understanding, and accepting. It is most important to me that you feel safe and comfortable to share anything with me. Whatever you bring to a session, you will not be met with judgment and criticism.

My journey to mental healthcare

I knew I wanted to become a therapist from a very young age. Through my own life experiences and losses, I have developed a passion for helping others during their most difficult times. I believe therapy can be a powerful tool that helps us to learn and grow. I truly appreciate the privilege of being a part of that journey for each and every client

My goals for you

I believe the first step to success in therapy is building a strong relationship between therapist and client. It may take time for some clients to feel comfortable in therapy. Each individual moves at their own pace, and it is important to me that this process is not rushed.

Our first session

In our first session together, we will spend a majority of the time discussing what has brought you to therapy. I will ask questions that help me get to know you better. Some of these questions will be about how you have been feeling recently and what you experience on a day to day basis. If at any point you feel overwhelmed we can take a break.
