Hi there, I'm Kaitlyn!

I work with adults and adolescents of various backgrounds and take a non-judgmental approach to care. I am especially passionate about helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders related to our rapidly changing world.

My focus

I have the most success working with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I attentively listen to patient needs and goals to provide medication management that assists in better-managing symptoms that often interfere with the ability to lead a happy, healthy life.

My approach is based on individual patient needs. I prefer to listen to work together on a treatment plan that meets your needs. I believe for our relationship to succeed, we must build trust. Together, we will develop an effective plan based on your needs and insight.

My communication style

I believe each patient requires a varying environment to best feel heard and understood. I am able to adjust to your needs and desires to create a calm, safe space to share your concerns and goals. I create an environment for you to feel comfortable sharing what you have been struggling with.

My journey to mental healthcare

Throughout my time as a nurse, I began to see where mental health services fell short and I felt called to help. I am passionate about helping others to feel heard and understood in order to create a path forward. There are few things more rewarding than seeing an individual become the best version of themselves.

My goals for you

Goal setting should meet the objectives and desires of each individual patient. I work together with patients to learn in what areas they would like to improve and provide resources to meet those goals. I prefer to start slow while trust is built and help patients set measurable, attainable goals.

Our first session

During a first session with me, you should expect to feel safe, heard and understood. The objective is to hear from you and determine how I can best help you be happier and healthier. Based on your comfort level, I will ask questions to understand your history and current symptoms. Together we will take the first steps toward a better you.
