I'm passionate about providing a culturally inclusive therapeutic space that encompasses diversity, healing, empowerment, and value. My strong heritage as a Chicana pushed me to find a career that would allow me to give back to my community and create a space where everyone feels seen and understood.
My focus
Many clients come to this space bringing a need for support, feelings of stress or anxiety, sadness, worthlessness, or generally feeling lost. Past clients have had stressful transitions, past or current trauma, are in crisis, or simply want a mental health check-up. Oftentimes, we are even unsure of what we are experiencing.
My approach
I use CBT with a trauma focus while always including a culturally sensitive and competent approach. Every person is unique, which is why I provide an eclectic approach to the modalities used in sessions. I believe in partnering with clients as their own experts and finding ways for them to grow and thrive.
