Hi there, I'm Jordan!

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical. I have experience working with at-risk patients with a focus on addressing a wide range of traumatic experiences. I hope my work will help break the negative stigmas associated with addressing mental health. Your mental health is your greatest weapon; let’s work together.

My focus

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, life transitions, and stress.

My approach

I offer innovative and unique techniques that will show a different perspective to traditional therapeutic practices. This will be an inclusive partnership with your input to build a solution-focused, individualized treatment plan.

My communication style

I want our therapy sessions to be a two-way street. I strive to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing difficult topics. I believe honest conversations, encouragement, and practical feedback help clients make meaningful progress.

My journey to mental healthcare

I received my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Morgan State University and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, where I specialized in children and families. I come from a family of social workers and have a passion for this growing profession. Currently, I work as a School Social worker.

My goals for you

Together, we identify realistic goals and break them into manageable steps. I work with clients to develop an individualized plan, focused on highlighting their strengths and developing weaknesses. I am very uplifting, but I will challenge clients to look at things from a different perspective.

I call them "rap sessions". I want to get to know what some of your interests and hobbies are outside of therapy. I also want you to get to know me and see if my therapy style matches what you are looking for. I am very big on building a relationship with clients.
