My communication style

I'm open, laid back, and non-judgmental. I remind clients that this is their journey and they can say no to worksheets or other elements of therapy that don't work for them, but they'll get what they put into it. If they don't feel like talking about a topic on a given week, I allow them space and respect, as long as we eventually get to it.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path to this work has been shaped by diverse experiences in direct care, administration, and community settings. I've served families, individuals facing loss, and survivors of trauma. Each role deepened my commitment to meeting people where they are and honoring their unique strengths.

We'll work together to identify your strengths and build on them. I tailor our approach to what resonates with you, whether that's structured exercises or open conversation. Progress happens when you feel supported and empowered to take steps that align with your values and goals.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I'll ask about your goals and what you hope to gain from our work together. This is also your chance to ask questions and see if we're a good fit. There's no pressure—just an open conversation about where you are and where you'd like to go.
