For me, therapy is helping individuals realize that they are the experts in their lives and how to live authentically. When I am not practicing therapy, I am practicing yoga, in a salt spa, reading for pleasure, writing poems, walking to get coffee or tea, attending concerts, or cooking dinner with family and friends.
My focus
I am open to working with someone interested in learning how to live authentically and is willing to utilize the tools and practices we set to improve their life. My clinical experience spans working with children, teenagers, and adults.
My approach
I focus treatment on coping and emotional regulation skills for adults, children, and teenagers. During sessions, I utilize mindfulness, grounding, calming strategies, and cognitive behavioral therapy tools. I have a specialty in treating hair-pulling behaviors related to anxiety, perfectionist personalities, or poor stress tolerance.
