I specialize in trauma with an action-based, relationship-centered approach. I help individuals and couples reclaim their personal power and craft a life that is meaningful and safe.
My focus
I work with people who have experienced or witnessed traumatic events, including nurses, doctors, teachers, child welfare workers, law enforcement, military personnel, adoptive parents, sexual assault survivors, and LGBTQIA+ persons. If you feel you shouldn't be traumatized but are having symptoms, you deserve relief.
My approach
I don't use retelling of the trauma story. Trauma lives in the present, even if the event was decades ago. What heals trauma is changing how your nervous system responds to triggers now. I use polyvagal techniques, EMDR, Emotional Freedom Technique, somatic movement, DBT, and cognitive restructuring to help you regulate your responses.
