My communication style

I work well with clients who appreciate understanding each other's backgrounds and life circumstances. I have been told that I am straightforward and, although gentle, can be direct when needed.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to becoming a social worker during a high-risk pregnancy when I delivered my son eight weeks early. A helpful social worker supported me throughout delivery and follow-up at home. She was very inspirational, and meeting her inspired me to return to school.

My goals for you

I work with each person to help them set their goals, following their lead. When clients have difficulty expressing their goals, I support them in verbalizing and clarifying what they want to achieve.

Our first session

Our first session will be the two of us getting to know each other. I will be asking questions to gather information for the intake assessment so we can begin working together effectively.
