Hi there, I'm Ryan!

I provide individual therapy for adults experiencing anxiety and depression, and I strive to be supportive and nonjudgmental in working with people on the challenges they are facing in life.

My focus

I typically work with people experiencing anxiety and depression due to recent or ongoing stressors in their home, social, or work life. I enjoy helping people increase awareness and mindfulness, reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and take action steps based on their values.

My approach

I work collaboratively with you as you navigate your mental health journey, exploring both insights into the topics you discuss and coping skills that may be helpful. I tend to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy often.

My communication style

My goal is to have a communication style that is kind, comfortable, and personable. I want you to have a safe space where you do not have judgment from me, and feel free to talk about anything you would like.

I like helping people find ways to enjoy life more. It is rewarding for me to be part of your life when you take courageous steps to engage in therapy, acknowledge your hard work and growth, and find ways to take care of yourself through the ups and downs of life.

My goals for you

I like to work with you to identify what you would like to accomplish in therapy. Throughout our work together, we can talk about how progress is going with your goals, and can make adjustments in our session focus and strategy as needed.

Our first session

In our first session, I like to spend the majority of our time getting to know your story through asking questions about what led you to start therapy, how you have been feeling lately, and what you would like to accomplish. We can create treatment plan goals together and get an idea of how we might structure sessions going forward.
