Hi there, I'm Heather!

I'ma Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who provides compassionate, individualized care for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and concerns related to faith or identity. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can better understand yourself, experience healing, and move forward.

My focus

I work with adults who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are no longer serving them. I support clients in understanding how their thoughts, emotions, physical responses, relationships, life experiences, and beliefs may be affecting their current well-being, relationships, and health.

My approach is integrative, client-directed, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches. We will explore the mind-body connection. We will work together to help you understand and reshape the stories influencing your life. We will use cognitive behavioral therapy to address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.

My communication style is warm, compassionate, respectful, and honest. I want you to feel heard and accepted while also providing thoughtful questions, observations, encouragement, and gentle challenges that can help you gain insight and move forward.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into mental health began with a sense of faith and calling. I felt drawn to walk alongside people through difficult seasons and help them find healing, hope, and a clearer path forward. I've been able to witness clients gain insight, heal from painful experiences, strengthen their relationships, and reconnect with their sense of identity

I believe you are the expert on your own experience. Conversations about treatment goals will be collaborative rather than judgmental or directive. I combine practical tools with deeper exploration so you can develop both immediate coping strategies and create lasting changes.

I will learn about what has brought you to counseling and what you hope to gain from therapy. We may discuss your history, relationships, health, faith, strengths, and support system so I can begin understanding you as a whole person. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and determine whether my approach is a good fit for you.
