Hi there, I'm Shana!

I work primarily with children, teens, and young adults experiencing difficulties with the impacts of trauma, depression, and anxiety.

My focus

My passion is working with the children, teens, and young adults of this world. They are our future and deserve a space to learn about themselves in a safe environment. I primarily provide trauma-focused services.

My approach

I utilize a person-centered approach, as well as keeping my trauma lens on. I believe everyone is an expert in their own lives, and we are here to work together! A core belief of mine is that we all do better when we all do better.

My communication style

My priority is to create a safe, welcoming space for each person to show up as they are. An environment that fosters self-exploration and growth.

My journey to mental healthcare

My first psychology course in High School sparked my interest in the field. When I entered college, I had plans to minor in psychology, which quickly turned into a major. Being a therapist is personal for me, and ensuring I am a safe person who recognizes the importance of others feeling seen, heard, and validated is most important.
